George (Yuhao) Chen is currently a graduate student in the Master of Environmental Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania, concentrating in Environmental Mapping and Analytics (Individualized concentration). He hopes to use GIS for further spatial analysis of detailed environmental issues especially focusing on the oil spills in the near-shore area of the ocean. George joins The Water Center at Penn to support mapping wet weather management utilities for several EPA regions around the US. Simultaneously, while at the Water Center, he seeks to acquire knowledge from professionals and cultivate skills for his future endeavors.
