The Green Infrastructure Leadership Exchange (“the Exchange”) is a peer learning network for communities seeking to build a playbook that anyone can use to implement green stormwater infrastructure equitably and affordably.

The water sector is evolving in a rapidly changing environment–from the climate crisis and aging infrastructure to growing populations, displacement, and more stringent regulations. The skills we need to address these challenges are also changing. In this workshop, we ask, “What does leadership for a more sustainable and equitable water future look like?” and explore the practical ways of developing the essential leadership capacities to build that future. This workshop will feature stories from rising and established leaders in the field, including the Water Center’s Andy Kricun, who are applying new leadership approaches on the ground. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect in small cohorts, drawing connections to their own experiences and learning from one another’s approaches to leadership.
