The Water Center at Penn and the Penn Alumni Water Forum invite you to join us for a networking lunch and learn discussing water trivia. Speakers include: Neal Jain, President, Penn Alumni Club of Chicago, John Moyer, Vice President, Penn Alumni Club of DC, and Jason Shapiro, President of Penn Alumni Club of New York. The event will take place on October 28, from noon-1pm. It will be a brown bag virtual lunch event that will focus on water trivia about New York City, DC, and Chicago. Please register today!

 

Featuring:

Jason Shapiro is CEO, DKC Landscaping. He is a Senior Corporate Executive with experience managing companies in a variety of roles including Board member, CEO, President, CFO, Controller, and other advisory capacities. Jason has a leadership background in finance, audit, public markets, private equity, corporate governance, and risk management experience across regional and global firms in diverse industries and in various states of financial health. His academic record includes honors at all schools including multiple valedictorian, summa cum laude, and scholarship awards. Jason’s Degrees include: Wharton MBA, JD, MS in Accounting, and B.S. in Computer Science. He is the President of the Penn Alumni Club of New York.

 

John Moyer is a management consultant, who leads the Business Transformation of process industry clients. With almost two decades of experience with AT Kearney, John developed and implemented strategies for acquisition due diligence, merger integration, price and supply risk, category management, business contingency, and procurement process, tools, and organization. His focus is Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, and Chemicals supply chain, procurement, and logistics. He has extensive experience with flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, agricultural commodities, sweeteners, packaging, and resins. John was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the Loudoun County VA Water Resources Technical Advisory Committee. John has led operations projects to reduce water usage and improve water effluent quality in urethane chemicals, pulp and paper, brewing, and poultry industries. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Villanova University. John is Vice President of the DC Penn Alumni Club.

 

Neal Jain is Director of Client Success at SPINS, which is a leading provider of retail consumer insights, analytics and consulting for the natural, organic and specialty products industry. Neal has undergraduate degrees from Penn’s Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology and an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from Wharton. He is President of the Penn Club of Chicago and an active participant with initiatives at The Water Center at Penn.
