Jennifer Savoie, from Wharton MBA Career Management will introduce our moderator, Elizabeth Master, Human Resources Director of SUEZ North America. Elizabeth will discuss the entry level opportunities for undergraduates the diverse career options at SUEZ. Michelle Jung, Director of Sustainability and Strategic Partnerships, will detail the students on SUEZ’s innovation and sustainability as a global company. Additionally, we will hear from Kendra Morris and Rachael O’Reilly about their career experiences and scope of work, followed by a 20-minute Q&A.
Michelle is responsible for development and execution of the enterprise wide strategy and vision that integrates sustainability into the core of the business. Michelle also plays a critical role in fostering key external partnerships that aligns with SUEZ North America’s economic, social, and environmental goals and satisfies the changing expectations of our customers, stakeholders, and communities.
A graduate of Barnard College (Bachelors) and St. John’s University, School of Law (JD), Michelle is a licensed New York attorney with expertise in labor and employment law. Michelle has held various senior roles with increasing responsibilities leading internal audit, ethics, compliance, strategy, and innovation.
Elizabeth Master is Director of Talent Development & Diversity and Inclusion at SUEZ North America headquartered in Paramus, New Jersey.
Elizabeth has over 20 years’ experience as a Human Resource professional. She has held HR leadership positions within retail, medical/consumer product manufacturing and utility industries. She has been with SUEZ North America for eight years. During her time with SUEZ, she has been the HR Lead of the corporate division and had oversight of Talent Acquisition and HR Service Center.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University and received her Masters of Science from Villanova University concentrating in Human Resource Development. She also holds a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. (SHRM-SCP) certification.
Kendra is Director of Business Development & Project Development for the Environmental Services division to bring sustainable and resilient water solutions to our communities. Kendra’s background is in infrastructure investment in environmental, social and transportation public private partnerships. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science and a Master of City Planning both from the University of Pennsylvania.
Rachael O’Reilly:
Rachel graduated from the school of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University in May, 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources and a minor in Environmental Policy. While all aspects of the environment interest her, her coursework while at Rutgers was tailored more towards conservation and sustainability. Throughout her college career, she worked at SUEZ Water Environmental Services Inc. She started as an intern in the summer of 2017 and then worked as a part time employee until graduation. Following graduation, she accepted a full time position with SUEZ as the Compliance Specialist for New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A few months later, she accepted a promotion with the Technical Services Team. She is now the Water Quality Compliance Specialist for SUEZ’s Environmental Services Division, which includes water and wastewater facilities across the United States.
