Gabrielle joined the Water Center at Penn through a joint partnership with the Department of Chemistry where she coordinates administrative functions assisting faculty, staff, students, and greater leadership. The goals and mission of the Water Center align with her hopes to bring a practical element of support for the larger systems within our communities. Gabrielle is committed to the footprint we all hold to impact awareness and dedication to national, and furthermore global-minded levels of engagement. Her professional background surrounds areas of Education, Social Science, and Community Health. In 2015 she completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Temple University's College of Public Health. She also has been involved in volunteer roles for social service boards, organizations, and hyper-local government. Her professional involvement extends from here at home to the Ministry of Education in Madrid, Spain where she worked in local schools as a Bilingual Auxiliar before relocating to Hamburg, Germany where she worked as a Pedagogic Educator. With her return to Philadelphia, Gabrielle has worked with Public Health Management Corporation, the leading Delaware Valley nonprofit provider of public health services. With PHMC, her role focused on data and accountability measures that widely supported the City of Philadelphia's early learning initiatives set by the Mayor's Office.
