Matthijs Bouw is a professor of practice at the Weitzman School of Design, where he focuses on climate resilience. He is also the founder of ONE Architecture & Urbanism, a design firm that has become a leader in using design for climate adaptation. Examples are his work on NYC’s coastal resilience, and New York Rainproof. He is also the co-editor of ‘Building with Nature; creating, implementing and upscaling nature based solutions’.
